Herbicide mixtures for post-emergence control of horseweed in coffee interrow

Glyphosate-resistant biotypes of horseweed (Conyza spp.) have been a constant problematic for coffee growers all over Brazil. Therefore, this work was developed with the objective evaluating efficacy different herbicides, applied isolated or in mixture, control plantation interrows. A field trial performed following treatments (g ha-1): glyphosate at 925, glufosinate-ammonium (GA) 500, saflufenacil 49, flumioxazin 50, + GA (925 500), 49), 50), (500 50) and clethodim 49 108), besides check plots without herbicide application. The treatment included considering possible concomitant presence sourgrass (Digitaria insularis (L) Fedde) areas. At moment application, 40 cm tall pre-flowering. Percent evaluated 7, 14, 21 28 days after application (DAA), as well mass dry matter DAA. In general, adequate obtained applications, mixture glyphosate, flumioxazin. Mixture has also reached high infestation, difference to treatments. As conclusion, infestations interrow may be efficiently controlled tank mixtures herbicide.
